I believe that's a valid point, BestWestern. On a personal level European or world "things" don't annoy me at all. I still get up every other weekend, and watch the F1 races from Europe, and beyond. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Slash I wouldn't be playing guitar today. GnR was the biggest musical influence in my life. My favorite tune is "Don't Damn Me", it just sort of speaks to me. I've never seen them in concert, and would only really want to if Axl would fix things up with Slash...

I saw a "T something" that was made up to look like an old Thunderbird crash. The pilot was close to the ground, and he decided to roll, he was too close and the wing hit the ground and he did a cartwheel. He died instantly. It was pretty shocking. The airshow continued though. This was at Selfridge...

The self taught thing worked for me. I couldn't see the point in spending all that money on lessons when I can buy video's, books... ect. Over the 8 years I've been playing, the $$ really would've added up.

Spotting at YYZ is great, but the best place is atop Terminal 1 ( the roof ). You'll be able to see most of the airport from up there. Also, you'll have to pay for parking in the parking garage, but it's worth it. As far as needing a ticket to access the terminal, one is not needed.
