US3 and Boeing 787-10 Prediction

Based on DeSpringbokke's last post on the United and Boeing 787-10, I would like to make a prediction and rumour thread to see which US Legacy carriers would operate the 787-10.

Re: SQ's intention with the additional A359ULRs?

I think SQ will do 2x daily with its A350ULR SIN-LAX-SIN 2x will require 3 frames SIN-JFK-SIN 2x will require 3.5 frames (or 4 if you don't rotate it with LAX) So that's 7 planes If they were to to do double dailies with the ULRs successfully , that might spell the end to the current Fifth Freedom ...

Re: Scoot aims for longhaul growth; more 787s

Beyond the initial fleet of 20 787s, Scoot says it plans to tap into the flexibility SIA Group has regarding future orders and reallocate aircraft to Scoot instead. In other words, SQ could transfer some 787-10s or even A350s to Scoot. I think the 787-10 would make perfect sense since they used to ...

Re: Scoot applies for US service

Waiting for Air Asia X or Scott to go all out and start SIN/KUL-TPE/KIX-OAK/LAX...one can wait. How about SIN/KUL-TPE-ONT? Never been tried before and the new ONT airport authority may be interested in subsidizing something like this. There should be enough O&D demand to fill discount Y between...

Re: SIA signs LOI for 39 Boeing Aircraft

Given that a lot of SQ's trunk routes are going to slot constrained airports, makes sense to order the likes of the 777-9, especially as air demand on these routes continues to grow: HKG: Peak hours massive slot constraints. Off peak minor constraints DPS: Peak hours slot constrained. Off peak not ...

Re: SIA signs LOI for 39 Boeing Aircraft

I assume that the 777-9 will replace majority of the 77W routes, but I am curious if some of the A380 routes would be switched over to this as well.
