Re: Upstate New York Thread - 2018

For as far BOS is concerned the times aren't too bade when you consider that B6 has an early mourning one w/ AA being an evening flight. The B6 one is better suited for connections while AA's is more PTP. Interestingly enough during the winter w/ the seasonal FLL flight B6 overnights 3 planes in SY...

A couple of years ago Delta served SYR-SLC as a one-off a couple of times, hopefully when they get the C-series (A220) they will think of starting it as a scheduled route.

AA has 2x ROC - BOS and 1daily SYR which is at a horrible time and is always delayed. Re: JetBlue Network Thread 2018

I highly doubt B6 will ROC, or SYR will ever be dropped given that they are priding themselves on being “New York’s airline” . I’m honestly surprised AA hasn’t dropped ROC or SYR especially. With AA dropping PIT from BOS, that only leaves SYR, ROC, and MDT as American Eagle destinations from that ci...

Allegiant is an airline that prides itself on flying people to sun and beach destinations. The only route you mentioned that has even the slightest chance of starting is BLI-ANC, but even that chance is very small.

To start I see them doing some proving runs within Canada on some of their more popular routes (YYC-YVR, YYZ-YVR, etc) to get crews used to the aircraft. Or maybe even YYZ-LAX as AC has done in the past.

BTV/ROC/SYR/PWM - Some of B6's first markets, but they have largely flatlined or shrunk over the past few years. Upstate NY continues to have many economic challenges, and it's hard to make money on connections to Florida when ULCC's are making inroads. DL/UA also compete to LGA/EWR (and in some ca...
