The way I understand it, the VICTIM asked to be kept anonymous. I believe it is in the letter. Does anyway on the right know what that means? I do know the hypocrisy is as always on the right ad nauseum. That’s the first step in the political setup. That’s what that means. You know, not everyone wa...Jump to post

People "are" too cheap to use those. What was the per minute rate on those phones back then? $5 a minute? $700 for an iPhone or not there is no way (unless it was a true emergency) I would pay that much per minute to chat on an airfone unless someone's life was in danger. Most people don'...Jump to post
How did you survive the 20-yr GTE Airfone era? Ha! People were too cheap to use those for the most part. Today people consider a $700 phone a mandatory expense. yup-I feel old-and I don't have a facebook account:( People "are" too cheap to use those. What was the per minute rate on those ...Jump to post
*SY PDX-RNO DEC 0.3>0 JAN 0.3>0 FEB 0.3>0 No surprise here. This route didn't seem all that realistic on a Boeing 737 anyway... An MSP airline attempts to break out into the PNW. Even if their head honcho in Network Planning is an ex-ASer, wouldn’t it make more sense to start your non-MSP ...Jump to post
I have two itineraries booked for travel to Europe via DL next year. All flights in and out of STL were booked with mainline jets (mostly 717s) coming and going, but have recently been changed to regional jets. I’m sure that this may be normal, but it’s a bit disappointing. Anyone know if there is ...Jump to post

The only service between STL and MBJ is a year-round service via Apple with seasonal service on Southwest starting next spring. Did you mean another airport?
They gave incentives and landed BA. Great. Delta said get lost...CDG gone. Have to be careful with incentives and new service. Not that clear. What if DAB had an existing flight to another Canadian city? YUL in for instance. Would that mean they shouldn't try for YYZ, presuming that YYZ is the #1 d...Jump to post

We're a medium sized market. RDU is so far the only airport that has made LHR and CDG work. Not sure how they did it but maybe someone around here knows. LHR has a cooperate contract. That's why it's on AA of all airlines. that's what I was thinking. I am assuming the CDG flight has business contra...Jump to post

My friend unfortunately works minimum wage at a grocery store. But now with this new law in place, almost half of his pay will be going to union fees. 1. How many hours does your friend work? Even at minimum wage, unless you're working 10 hours a month, the dues shouldn't be too much.2 2. I view th...Jump to post

I understand wanting a "real" airline on TATL, but why BA? They offer one of the worst J experiences among global carriers, and aren't anything special in economy either. Because Lufthansa wants too much money, Condor has really low frequencies/ service time, FI flies to KEF which we alre...Jump to post

Ok, if he was ticked off, I congratulate him, he knew the screwing that was hidden in the law. Ok, since you still don't seem to get it, I'll say it plainly. STL, BNA, AUS, ect had good cases for a flight to LHR. But when it came time for incentives, one of those cities didn't have the money, so they skipped it over. Or more likely, one of those cities had a better case for the flight than t...Jump to post
I just get a chuckle when someone states they can throw out all kinds of facts and figures to show that STL is a better trans-Atlantic candidate than say Nashville... when Nashville already has BA!!!. And its not just because BNA spent a couple million. There's many different factors at play. Feel ...Jump to post
