What happened at HVN today? FlightAware showed that XP 302 from MCO diverted twice to ALB? What was the weather like. There’s been a strong storm system that’s blowing through the country right now and maybe they couldn’t land safely at hvn METAR at the time they tried to get in: KHVN 111853Z 21012...

Jump to postSince winter brings headwinds and likely diversions, why not swallow your pride (Delta, i mean) and just schedule a fuel stop during the winter months. I took a spin this afternoon down to Tweed to check things out and to watch the afternoon turnaround (because I am that kinda geek!). I watched the Avelo staff turn what looked to be a heavily loaded MCO arrival around in only about 45 mins back to RSW. I wasn't counting pax, of course, but it looke...

I heard from an Avelo manager that the load factor out of HVN is “off the charts” and the future bookings are looking very strong. Now I hope UA will take notice and be the first to use the idle jet bridge. HVN-ORD. I'd love to see those EMB175s or CRJ550/700/900s back in HVN doing ORD. That just s...
Jump to postI'm sure Avelo will have significantly higher loads for the Holidays both West and East. It will be interesting to see how they due in January, February and early March. Jump to postunofficial but hearing from a friend that HVN is significantly outperforming BUR already. The NEOs are great planes to fly in. Got my first A320NEO ride last month on Frontier .. beautiful airplane and seemed quite a bit more quiet in general than the usual A320s, both engine noise-wise and with all the weird noises and barks and sounds the older standard A320s make.
