My guess is they will keep the 7-7 because it's familiar and sounds good; introducing a letter in the middle would do the job keeping the same rhythm. A name like Boeing 7S7 for instance gives continuity and modernity without turning into a tongue-twister.

The only communist country I have ever visited is Cuba and I can assure you I felt more relaxed and welcomed there than in some "regular" countries where anyone wearing an uniform feels entitled to look at us as if we were a threat, I won't drop names...

Some defunct brands like Pan Am should be allowed to rest, they occupy a special place in my heart and shouldn't be used by other companies as some marketing gimmick. I'm thrilled to see the BOAC livery again but it's a different case in my opinion.

I judge the attitude of a passenger. You can see polite people travelling in comfortable tracksuits and you can see awfully rude people covered in fashion labels.

I was FA on the 707s, great bird, very comfortable for passengers and for us too. Shame I can't compare them to the DC-8s because they were gone when I started flying but we can't forget DC-8s had those fantastic big windows.

I have to admit I miss the 737-200s a bit, it was so easy to work on them. I started to loathe the 737s when the 300s were launched and from then on they became my most detested plane.

Someone above mentioned the salt on the chips before tasting them as a no no, I think this shows how stupid a boss can be and I wouldn't want to work for someone like that...

Well, ANA seem to use the 788's almost exclusively on services to Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul which from HND/NRT are 2 - 3 hr sectors so why can't BA ?
