Re: JetBlue Network Thread - 2020

I was looking at some JFK-ORD flights for December and I noticed B6 operates up to 4 daily now. If I remember correctly they used to have one.... or am I confused? Have they boosted flights ahead of UA's return to the airport? December schedules haven't been tweaked yet. Most of December is still s...

Re: Nashville Aviation Thread - 2020

The commuter parking fees at BNA just skyrocketed from $10 to $25 a month. The Pilots/FA’s aren’t too happy. Incorrect, that 150% increase is for actual employees of the airport, many of which its paid by whatever company they work for. For the commuting pilots and FA's, its going from $25 per mont...

Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

How often do refitted A320s fly routes from JFK to the Caribbean? If the seat map currently shows the old A320 configuration, how likely is it that they'll swap to a refitted plane the day of? Not likely. They build the lines of flying for the retrofitted airplanes months ahead and try to keep them...

Re: WN at MDW meltdown?

It was still under the max crosswind for operations contrary to the other poster report. WN has that airport basically all to itself and yet it still couldn’t operate their schedule. With the 30% OT performance on a daily basis WN doesn’t seem to mind running flights really late. What must happen f...

Re: WN at MDW meltdown?

The wind was not outside the crosswind limits for a 737 at MDW today. But blame the wind....... What are WN’s crosswind limits? 35kts of direct crosswind. The wind was never at 90 degrees to the runways at MDW. You do realize how crosswinds are calculated, right? Using the same winds earlier in the...

Does anyone know why tail 510 isn’t back from modifications yet? According to flightaware it flew into SAL on January 7. Seems like this bird is taking longer than usual?
