jetBlue lands at PSM

I just saw a jetBlue flight on final approach to PSM. jetBlue doesn't serve PSM, so I'm woindering what's up. Logan is just minutes away. I got only a brief glimpse so I couldn't ID the aircraft. Training flight perhaps?

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

The info coming out of the Lion Air investigation is very interesting. Apparently the suspect info about AoA didn't come from the sensors. Instead, it came somewhere downstream--exactly where it occurred either isn't known or hasn't been disclosed yet. FWIW, I would not be surprised if the ET invest...

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

So I can't help but wonder if the investigators found part of the instrument panel that showed the MCAS switched off. This whole accident feels much more complicated than simply the MCAS intervening and pilots being unable to cope with it.

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

There is something that has been nagging at me about both these crashes. In both cases, the pilots were struggling with the aricraft, but did seem to be overcoming the problem (MCAS) as shown by their continuing to climb, albeit haltingly. But at the end, both planes encountered something that caus...

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

If indeed it is an MCAS induced crash then the primary responsibility is Ethiopian’s training. After the Lion crash Boeing put out an emergency bulletin explaining the problem and telling the pilots EXACTLY what to do if they encountered a similar problem. Any MAX pilot who did not get this informa...

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

Question about airspeed and FR24. Apparently the captain told ATC that they had a "problem with airspeed indicator." Would FR24 be picking up that same potentially flawed airspeed or are they picking it up from a different source?

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobi

FR24's blog (https://www.flightradar24.com/blog/flightradar24-data-regarding-the-crash-of-ethiopian-airlines-flight-302/) is really interesting. The AC appeared to have no problem gaining speed, but plenty of trouble gaining altitude. Every time they started to climb, they would quickly level off or...
