Anyone got anything against it?

Too close to YYZ. Very likely flight paths are too close
Weather diversions will be useless.

Re: Reuters: Virgin Atlantic Close to A330neo order

Could A330Neo deal be because of RR? The A35K are likely for A346 and B744 replacement. The A330NEOs could be for replacing the A333s. Just my $0.02

Re: Air Canada will add 4 more A330-300s in 2019

I noticed that the number of A330s joining the fleet has changed back to 4 from 5. Can someone confirm this?

Re: a movie on Max Ward of Wardair

I remember seeing this documentary here about five years ago. Very enlightening documentary on Max Ward and WardAir. Are there any links on literature of WardAir in the second half of the 80s. You can start here: https://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/search.aspx?ArchiveSearchForm%24search=Wardair...

Looks like AC will also be getting another A333 in 2020. Not sure where this one is coming from...

Re: Bombardier launch new 50 seater

Most 50 seaters only have 1 FA. I cannot see more than 1 FA for a 3 class 50 seater. No wonder they are looking at self serve areas.

Re: A321LR takes to the skies for the first time

What's the point of the door changes? Less weight in door, more weight in fuel? Doors are heavy. With front being some form of Premium Class, the density of passengers will be a lot less. So they can get away with removing L2 and R2. But the density for the second half will still remain consistent....

Re: Indigo Partners to order 430 A320s at Dubai

This is a JL signature deal. Bill Franke, the managing partner, flew to Dubai to sign according to the BBC. But JL is on record saying that Indigo will not be paying the full $49.5 billion.

Re: Dubai Air Show 2017 - Airbus Orders

If it's an A380 order, then we should see bronze statues of Leahy being erected in TLS! It would be an amazing way for him to walk off the stage, a total 'mic drop' moment. I really think JL deserves a bronze statue for what he has done so far for Airbus. I do not think, Airbus will be as...

Re: Dubai AIr Show 2017 - Airbus Orders

One observation from all this is Airbus is struggling on the marketing and sales, while Boeing had been able to get the upper hand with better marketing and sales campaign. Airbus has been especially struggling with airshows. Look at the last airshows in Paris, Fanborough, Berlin, Singapore and now ...

Re: Stored Air Canada Embraer 190 Fleet

Aren't the 19 ex-AC E-190s owned by Boeing. I believe they were taken as part of the AC Max order. So I do not think this will be an AC problem. IT will be a Boeing problem to find new owners for these birds!!

Re: Did Delta Make a Mistake Acquiring the A350 and A330 Neo?

Love where this discussion is going. It is always interesting to speculate how airlines order aircraft. Why is it that in the automobile industry, we have more than one or two cars being bought in each class? Why are the cheapest cars are not always the most sold cars ? What about the most efficient...
