Well, the article states that the intention is to replicate Emirates or Qatar's model, so it'd be using CAI as a hub. But with both of those plus TK and Euro companies doing the same with established reputation... I dunno, maybe sell it as a budget airline? like many using BOA for flights to MIA.

US operations went from global peer to peer to asymetric warfare and now aiming at P2P again, just more localized. I can see a thread in 10/15 years blaming on the USAF for getting rid of the A-10s. It's overreliance on the F-35 and the can-do-all attitude seems a bit dire.

AR last flew EZE SYD on A343 so it's not quite on par with LON-SYD and such. It should be achievable with current metal, but maybe not very economical without the classic AKL stop. Oh how I wished that flight returned :cloudnine:

Much of AR's E90 fleet is on the ground (1/3rd last I heard), getting E2's seems pointless and only serving politically (after last sunday of course). More MAXes is the sound choice, as well as A330NEOs.
