Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

on a side note, I just saw a full size, UPS style (almost a carbon copy), dark blue Amazon delivery truck in my middle class suburb. I asked the uniformed driver "when are you going to start outbound shipping, aka drop a package at FedEx Office or UPS Store" and he just smiled at me. the w...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Did any of us have any idea at the Aerosmith launch that Prime would be this size this fast?? Will Amazon in turn lease the plans to the carriers?? Nope. When was the CVG hub announced? From the beginning the hub was envisioned to be massive. Amazon makes no small plans. Those plans may not come to...

Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Maybe boring but I geek out on this stuff. Has anyone realized that UPS WorldPort at SDF is reportedly 120 acres big, (link: https://pressroom.ups.com/pressroom/ContentDetailsViewer.page?ConceptType=FactSheets&id=1426321566696-701) and the proposed Amazon CVG facility will be 650+ acres big? Re: Amazon Fleet Discussion - 2020

Just to add, this is 6 of the 12 Amazon aircraft announced that Amazon would lease. I am curious what company will actually operate/fly these... ATI according to the release. ATSG Airline to Operate Six More 767 Freighters for Amazon Air "ATSG subsidiary Air Transport International will fly al...

This may have been posted already but it appears a 767 in Amazon livery went into Lakeland, Florida today or yesterday. I wonder "why not" the larger Tampa airport ? Was this ATI or Atlas ?

Thank you

UPS fleet - 2020 and beyond
