I would not rule out LH. With the VW factory in Chattanooga there could be some basic biz demand. Same with the Mercedes factory in Tuscaloosa Not sure about that. Chattanooga is closer to the city of Atlanta, but since the airport is on the far side of the the city, I'm not sure it evens out count...

I'm not so sure the Frontier schedule change is insignificant. It appears to be a very significant business model change. Perhaps it is an error but there appears to be major changes in the works. No. HA has sufficient traffic to the major cities and the smaller carriers use their props. I was on RT of like 20+ flights HNL-OGG and on both, the 717's were maybe 50% full.

There is a lot of competition to HI right now. WN is going to have to do it from Califirnia (Don't think the MAX's will make if from PHX or LAS). They should concentrate on the Mexico and Central America and Caribbean markets.

The modifications required would pretty much require rebuilding the entire airplane.
