Re: Delta Investor Day Presentation 12/12/2019

Interesting that SJC is farther from SFO than FLL is from MIA given all of the posters over the years that have criticized UA/DL for missing their opportunity to invest in building a hub at FLL before the LCCs moved in.

Was interesting to me that Virgin Atlantic didn’t list Tampa in their proposed LHR routes as part of the third runway expansion. One note on Publix, they operate corporate jets out of LAL to send management teams to their stores across the southeast. I would guess SFO and BOS. Auto traffic is way overrated on Airliners. These cities have a lot of demand in other sectors and are served year-round from most other major European hubs. They announced A380 service from MUC to both BOS and SFO (replacing A346) just a few weeks ago. The 2 new US fligh...

Interesting list of cities in LH's poll on where they should fly the A380. DFW, ORD, TPA, SEA. If those are the options it feels like they might split the frequencies among multiple destinations.

As a point of comparison, I think the XLR has the range to operate every long-haul flight AA offers out of MIA.

The XLR could be a way for JetBlue to grow their FLL presence into something resembling a legacy hub over the next 10-15 years.
