Re: Boston Aviation Thread - 2020

It's not an a35k, normal a359. Definitely a lot more activity on over here than the last few months Confusing as written, but I assume that's a reference to the BA A35K which is due to land in a little bit. ah right you are. Misread on my part. As luck would have it, I was standing under that 359 a...

Re: Boston Aviation Thread - 2020

I am not sure if y'all noticed but we have some exciting flights today.

The return of QR with the A359 just landed.

Correct me if I am wrong, but today is also the first time the A350-1000 has been to BOS.
S4 also returns today.

With LH scheduled for tomorrow with the A333.

Happy spotting!

Flew out of BOS today for the first time since early March. Total ghost town practically. What really blew my mind was how abandoned terminal A was. I have noticed that EK has scheduled the A380 for Boston. Do they expect that quick of a rebound in demand? With QR not showing any signs of coming back nearly as quickly, EK has the Middle East to itself. That might be some (or all) of it. QR is planning 3 weekly 359 from July 1st. https://www.rou...

Re: Future of B6 and ACK, MVY, and HYA

They are not abandoning ACK/MVY/HYA though. These are some of their most profitable routes. Right now they use E90 for BOS-LGA/DCA, which is comparable to what the competitors are using which is a mix of A319/E90/B717/A220-100 + some RJs. I think ideally, you don't want to use more than A220-100 in...
