Re: Icelandair outlines intial 737MAX8 routes

Flew out of PHL in August. Loads were almost full, including up front. Did LHR connex,,not nearly as full. With all the new KFE flights FI and WOW, route becomes more O/D. lots of PHL connex cities will have their own N/S

Re: Icelandair Announces DFW

Flew on the PHL flight in August, very full, LHR connections not nearly as high load factor. I don't know about yield. With all the new KEF flights, there will be less connex pax on the already established flights. May work out well for the 737 flights

Re: American Airlines at JFK, A Few Years From Now

Is there a large enough FF base on eastern Long Island to warrant an Eagle or two to PHL. Could capture MAN,BUD, PRG etc

Re: Flight schedules of westbound PA round the world flight ?

Also Istanbul - I boarded in IST stopped in FRA (saw my first 747s) and continued on to LHR, It was still daylight, normal west to east Europe to NA. Many sights have access to timetables, as the times changed due to seasons, DST and equipment.

Re: United's old DC-8 fleet questions

The large numbers were primarily due to the mission, lots of transcons and Hawaii before their influx of international,
Was lucky my 6th flight was a UAL DC8-21 LAX IAD PHL, Also flew their 50s 61s and 62s
My first jet was also an 8 KLM 50 JFK AMS

Re: What airlines have you flown on?

First post and a question

On a flight after a recent merger an Airwest flight and ticket LAX - MRY was flown by a Bonanza DC-9 (10) with crew, service items etc
all as Bonanza, can that count as Bonanza or does it need to be logged as Airwest. Not Hughes Airwest (the bananas)
