I don’t know...CLT-DOH sounds kind of wild. CLT-GRU as a nice compliment to MIA, in good times, for connecting traffic seems doable.

Is anything being done to shorten the time landing aircraft take to reach the gates? CLT has the longest ground time reaching gates I have ever experienced. Taxi time is way down right now with the reduced schedule. The biggest problem is flights on D and E-Concourse landing and taking off on 18C/3...

A 777-300 is 5 feet shorter than the A340-600 that Lufthansa used to regularly fly in and park on Concourse D. It doesn’t work well but it can be done.

Maybe you're thinking of CVG-AMS. Delta ran that briefly with a 757-200 around the time NW and KL joined SkyTeam. The 757-200 could do it, but not a -300.

Two things, 1st AE operates 3 daily BOS-ROC flights. 2nd I find it highly unlikely that AA will start a new regional route out of BOS, as they have only been reducing regional flying out of BOS. I would find it very surprising for DL to add BOS-upstate new york routes. They would get killed on that and it will have no strategic relevance. DL already flies BOS-BUF. But in general yes I agree. AA updated their May schedule today. ROC loses mainline (again). A319 frequencies from ROC-CLT and ROC-PHL are gone. ROC-CLT goes back to 4x CRJ900 (not even the Embraers). AA has 2x ROC - BOS and 1daily SYR which is at a horrible time and is always delayed. I’m surprised they haven’t dropped these routes yet as AA doesn’t have much connecting traffic (other than to their hubs) out of BOS and their only non-hub routes are SYR, ROC, and MDT . Your best bet for spotting at ROC is probably still the gravel lot/pull-off at Beahan and Paul Roads near the approach of runway 4.

This is disappointing. I just checked the load factors the other day and WN has an annual average of 85.43% in ROC. Not horrible.

I'd like to think one of them would give ROC-FLL a go, but WN has been at their current schedule for years now (3 BWI, 1 MCO, 1 TPA) and B6 hasn't moved from the 3 JFK for some time (though a fourth starts in September).

Maybe Spirit would come in, since Frontier is at BUF and SYR.
