Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2019

Anyone have information on when AA will input the next A321 for the OASIS mods? They have paused the A321 Oasis for the summer to focus on Reliability. They will resume in the fall at a rate of 7/8 retrofit lines per month. All the LUS 321's will be done first then the LAA 321's. They are scheduled...

Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2019

Heads up, the first LUS A321 that went through the Oasis retrofit... Tail #161. The first one to be delivered to US Airways in early 2000’s we know those ones were very very long in the tooth returns to service with new galleys/closets/power/seats/PRAM(boarding music/announcement system) tomorrow. I...

Re: American outlines A321neo network for 2019 Q2

Could AA use these A321neo for transatlantic flights in the future from PHL, CLT and JFK? , I remember that Primera Air was going to use A321neo not LR in transatlantic routes, AA could also be launched in that adventure AA has already confirmed that it will not fly TATL routes from the NE. It will...

Any idea when the 14 Oasis are going to start flying again? Or have they been flying already?

Re: AA Fleet Updates - 2019

We’ve been ferrying A/C from DFW and other cities all night to MIA to cover some of the MAX flying that was cancelled. Also they will work on A/C routing to have exsisting A/C Cover what they can for the MAX and Oasis frames that are parked. Believe it’s a total of: 38 that are out of service (14 Oa...

It is March so the first 321 retrofit should happen any moment now. Hopefully it does transcons from PHL and CLT.

Re: New AA paint status

A few points: ships 935-942 were originally delivered to AW not US. Of the 8 remaining legacy birds 2 of them 182 and 677 still have the classic 22F wide beige leather seats. The some of those have very low cycles since they have done LAX - Hawaii most of their life. All currently remaining B757 fr...

Re: PHX-LHR on AA

Also noteble the PHX F/A's (LUS) that are not already qualified on the A330 begin training on it in August in preparation for the PHX/HNL A330 flight. I did hear from a reliable source rhat the deciding factor was a near future additional opportunity utilizing the A330 from PHX. I've been hearing a ...
