Re: San Diego Aviation Thread - 2020

I just wish they built up for SkyTeam presence internationally too, just ONE flight! I hope when the COVID-19 situation resolves, SAN is on the radar for at least one INTL SkyTeam carrier. We mainly have OW (JL, BA) and STAR (LH, Edelweiss *but who knows if they'll survive)

Re: Delta A333 and A332 New Interiors?

The china eastern a330s are going through retrofits similar to the seats found on PAL. I have never heard such news - where did you get this from? When they're losing A$10m a day I seriously doubt this is real. Michael Since almost 2 years ago. I’ve rode them a couple times from ICN- PVG. See link ...

Just had the pleasure of riding both this past weekend on the ICN-SIN RT route. Although the A359 was quieter, the 78X felt far more roomier, which is contributed by floor space and the windows being larger. Does AM follow a similar strategy as DL, partnering with KE and routing a lot of Mexico-Asia traffic through ICN? They should. However, AFAIK, AM has not moved to the new SkyTeam terminal at ICN. It'd be interesting to do hypothetical bookings to Asian cities on the AM site. Hopefully I will have t...

I've herd from others that the DTW and MSP flights are performing well. ATL is below average, and SEA is under performing. Personally, I fly between ICN - SAN every month, I always avoid SEA due to the 767. Their fare is always much higher comparable to KE from the SAN-LAX-ICN, SAN-SFO-LAX or SAN-L...
