I don't think any of us can all agree on the top 10 biggest failures in commericial aviation, but here are the first 10 that come to mind for me in no particular order: 1. Ilyushin il-96 - Nobody wants the things 2. Sukhoi Superjet 100 - Most airlines that operate these hate them and don't want the...Jump to post
I find it hard to defend airlines these days but this traveler did many things wrong: 1. Booked third party. When things go right it's fine. When things go wrong it just complicates matters, as you now have to deal with two parties instead of just the airline. 2. Booking with no wiggle room. Many pe...Jump to post

Get out of my head !!!!! I was think the SAME THING. I'd bet she was a nonrev.
Do they actually have a new location nailed down or is it all storage until further notice. Btw couple of historically significant aircraft, Sully’s A320 and the Eastern DC-7B. I think unfortunately it's going to be in storage until further notice. What a shame. Least they can do is put the A320 so...Jump to post
By January 2020 Boeing will have at least 400 built 737's lying around, so about $50bn of stock, is continuing production sustainable? Is laying off 6000 workers and being forced to pay Federally mandated WARN penalties an option either? Imagine if you were a assembly worker who did nothing to caus...Jump to post
Good for him. As a good friend of two individuals, both male & female accused wrongly of sexual assault they never committed, I can say better safe than sorry. As soon as "sexual assault" or "rape" is brought up, the court of public opinion immediately delivers a guilty verdi...Jump to post
I am fine with them defacing the "Blue Line of Treason" flag, but it's kind of funny/racist/ignorant of them to replace the US flag with the Mexican flag considering the majority of the people being held in those facilities are not even Mexican or from Mexico.Jump to post
I always found it funny how Americans think they live in the "land of the free" but there are huge stretches of landscape they are not allowed to walk into or even see. I'm glad I live in a country where in theory I can freely move everywhere, even if it's private property, with very few ...Jump to post
B6's performance has never been good. I liken it to the fact they have a HIGH, HIGH fleet utilization rate, operate from some congested/weather heavy markets, and poor management.
DAB was a pretty well run station as they quickly turned the plane around.
Really depends on the context. If I got the flight for free? Definitely. If I paid $3000+ for the ticket? No. Also was he going to pay cash/internet transaction right then and there, or was he going to wait for a while and hope the guy forgot about it? What difference does how much you spend for th...Jump to post
it is a bitter pill to swallow and even if Boeing gets to address the MAX issues, it will persist still to get confidence back both from operators, flight operations and the public. It will take a long time and will be haunted by its past each time there will be glitches. Close to saying - Boeing w...Jump to post

Cool report. Agree it's weird to see the CRJ-200 on this route, especially since many of the United Express routes out of IAH are on ExpressJet ERJ-145's.Jump to post
Most of those connected with Hollywood & rich executives, regardless of political affiliation, have had contact with Epstein and/or have had underage sex. It's revolting but such is the life of the rich & famous while we all fight for a loaf of bread.Jump to post
As someone who has non-rev benefits on Delta, this is just awful news because it devalues one of the benefits of working for an airline. Completely full flights = no chance in hell of getting a seat in any cabin.Jump to post
Yup, that's all that matters to companies in the US. As long as their stock & bottom line are doing fine, safety, employee well-being, customer well-being, and sustainability doesn't matter or can go out the window completely. So you think companies in other countries *aren't* focused on their ...Jump to post
My point is that we are stuck on this thread because Portland allowed a bunch of right wing nutcases to march, and because a fight broke out between aggressive members of the organizations ,the snowflakes on the right are crying about Antifa. Why do you Dems want to hand Trump the election? The Dems need someone not afraind to speak their mind, not afraid to defend themselves/their views, and being a little more progressive. At this current point in time Biden is not showing any of that. Go for someone like Harris, Castro, Warren, or Boo...Jump to post
Why is Antifa important? Seriously? On a list of 1 million things, this might get ranked at the bottom 10 %. Because they protest against the Republican base. They are hated because they want EVERYONE to be free, not just white evangelicals. My point is that we are stuck on this thread because Port...Jump to post

Boeing is a company in crisis. I hate to say it but their survival as a leading commercial aircraft manufacturer is in jeopardy. The drip drip of bad news is killing them. I’m certain at some point you signed an contract for the college loan. The picture you've painted with a "nice paying job" just means you are unwilling to make the necessary cuts in your lifestyle to pay your debt - my money. Nope, almost did but it got swapped out to a regular -800.
So far I have flown on the -200, -300, -400, -500, -700, -800, and -900. Unfortunately there are no more chances to fly on the -100 and I still plan eventually to fly the MAX's along with the -600.
Oh I have a nice paying job, just don't have anything left after taxes, 401K, insurance, rent, food, and other miscellaneous expenses. Paying the government back is last on my list of things to do.
