Kind of, except the seats have adjustable headrests and the window shades don't have the McDonnell Douglas logo etched on them. Don't know if the galleys are any different.

Re: When was your last MD-80 flight and how was it?

End of July I got to fly on N501AA, AA's last MD82 from DFW to DTW. Great flight (although I was in the aisle on the three seat side so unfortunately couldn't take video) and unfortunately my last flight ever on an MD82 and an American Super 80. Plan on still getting some Delta MD88 flights in thoug...

I notice they did indeed either not report on the fact (or put it in the last paragraph) that passengers did have the option to deplane and get a bus ride back to the terminal. Couple of problems with that, the later flights to MIA might have been completely full, there could've been the threat that...

I'm always amazed with how "stringent" the qualifications/training is to be a flight attendant and then you end up with loose cannons like this one. Makes me question the HR/recruiting departments at these airlines.

The Feds and the DOT need to investigate this, methinks LGB is is a front for something else under the guise of being an "airport". Pull their funding immediately and file criminal charges against the Long Beach City Council. Unlike the airlines they should be facing some serious jail time.

LGB needs to decide what they want to do, get rid of these draconian restrictions or close the airport and put a park there instead.

I fear they won't but I really wish Mesa (AA), JetBlue, Southwest, Delta, and Hawaiian would pack up shop at LGB and tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

AA used to fly those routes with the 767-200. I believe they switched to the A321 because they are in a heavily premium setup and it allows them to mainly sell expensive tickets on the route to more "premium" passengers while DL & UA are going after the more leisure traveler.
