Hi! I'm curious...not that I have the money because I don't, but say that you wanted to collect real airline airplanes and buy a few a la John Travolta...where would you look to find them? Simple reason none of the aircraft in there fleet are not currently configured to allow this route to operate with an reasonable payload. AKL-ORD is currently the max reach of there current 789 configuration. Both on NZ’a 789 configuration are high density and focus on Y. Once the 781 start rolling...

Probably could. There are more than one reclear points so range and divert opportunities exist. Three engines overwater was not uncommon. Why is it that right after a landing, airplanes sound like they are about to take-off again?

I first noticed this on an Eastern 727 in Atlanta at 17, and on the 6 other flights I took since, (757, md80, 737), and it puzzles me...
