Not a widebody but a United 757 landed at Isla Grande instead of Munoz Marin in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The largest Isla Grande sees are cessna' s and learjet business jets, apart from the regular trislander passenger planes. I remember that happening!! There was also a LAP Paraguay landing either a Boeing 707 or Douglas DC-8 in Morocco or some other Arabian country instead of Spain but I am not sure which airfield it was on and it's size.

Before COVID-19, Passengers in the Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton, PA, area flying various domestic routes had a strange choice: United actually had a bus between ABE and EWR. I almost did PHX-SAN-LAX-PHX once..but could not because since I wasnt a youth officer (yet) my church didnt pay for my tgrip...

This reminds me a bit of ANA and Lockheed back in the day. Back to the topic at hand, I'd just like to point out there are 319.000 Thai Americans which is about half the amount of Japanese-Americans....now, you also have to weight in economics etc, like how well off are Japanese and Japanese-America...

Bad loads. They were applied for, flown, and then cut very quickly when no one flew them.
