Re: Flying Europe: Condor B757-300 DUS-LPA Y

Splendid TR, greatly appreciated the read on how the 753's of DE look nowadays from the Inside. The last time ive been on one is almost 10 Years ago.
Im holding fond Memories of the Lopesan Costa Meloneras, its a great Hotel.

Best regards.

Re: WOW Cargo Alliance?

Did you bother to read the Wikipedia article you linked to? The article presents the information as if they're still operating. It doesn't seem that's the case but I can't find any information beyond that. Only SQ Cargo and SAS Cargo operate in the WOW Alliance as of now. LH Cargo and JAL Cargo wit...

Re: Tomorrow fare examples EU-America. Is this sustainable?

Could it also be that some of these are last minute fares put on the market to sell some more seats? Might be possible, if they have the capacity open why not sell it to the public. On the other Hand if you take a look at Fares from NY Area to Germany tomorrow you pay half a Fortune for Economy Tic...

Re: Ethiopian Airlines 737MAX crashes enroute to Nairobip

So I get why they didn't want to send the blackboxes to DC but sending them to France seems like the next worst option. The French Government is reading the boxes. The french government owns 11% of Airbus. Airbus employes tens of thousands of French workers. This would be like Apple leading the inv...

France Has Black Boxes (7:47 a.m.) The voice and data recorders from the crashed Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max have arrived in France, a spokesman for the French BEA air-accident investigation office said. :bouncy: so airbus now has the blackboxes So I get why they didn't want to send the black...

I remember they once ordered 5 B747-400s and they cancelled the order since they failed to reach an alliance with AF. VS took them

Considering the Horror News from Rome for the past Months, i wouldnt put a bet on AZ getting any new Planes soon let alone B77W's

Re: German Ambassador hints LH resuming Pakistan

Thats interesting news, i remember fondly when LH used the A306's to KHI and onwards to LHE and then Nonstop back to FRA in 2007 if my Memory serves me right it must've been LH766 and LH 767.
Will be interesting to see what Equipment they will use if it gets announced.

Thanks, can you provide a source about FRA please? Theres this Link https://www.lh-taufnamen.de/lufthansa/ where you can see that theyre designated already for FRA. Best regards. Re: Condor Fleet Renewal

"Get a couple 788s for the higher-demand routes? Then that’ll hold them off till around 2027 when the 797 can hopefully replace the rest." Why wait for 797s when they do not exist but A321 LRs and B737-8 Max do? To me it makes more sense to get the B787s with a size comparable to 767s and...

Would think it’s highly likely to be a 321 neo / 330 neo replacement . What are the primary destinations for the 757-3 . Can 321neo cover all these with similar capacity ? The 753's are mainly used on the Med-Sea Destinations and down to Egypt for the likes of HRG and SSH, they are the workforce on...

Re: Condor Fleet Renewal

Are there enough A332s available at the second-hand market? The thing is, if they go for second Hand A332's i guess they would like to go for the ones with the RR Trents. Now comes the Question on how many second Hand A332's are on the Market that have the Rolls Engines and are up for Sale. I alway...

Condor Fleet Renewal

Hello All, i've read sometime ago in an Article on the German Site airliners.de that there are Plans to announce new Orders for Condor's ageing Fleet of 767's this Year, yet it seems no Announcement has been made whatsoever. My Question now is how could that Order look like and especially they state...

Re: Air France will half it's A380 fleet

=============== (Google translate) The fact that Air France is holding on to five super jumbo's for the time being, according to the newspaper, also has to do with the fact that there are no parties to take over the coffins. For some of the phase-apart A380s from Singapore Airlines, no new owner co...

Re: Air France will half it's A380 fleet

So with those 5 Frames coming available on the second Hand Market who could be interested ? If we take into Account that AF ordered the A380 with the GP7000 and only KE,EY, QR and some of the EK A380's are equipped with the same Engines it gets tight with Operators maybe interested in taking them ov...

Re: Air France will half it's A380 fleet

Any chance BA or LH would consider picking these frames up? Lufthansa has been shuffling around 5 of their A380s between FRA and MUC during the summer season, maybe with these aircraft they could keep their FRA A380 flights that they had previously and their new flights at MUC? Wasnt the sole Reaso...

Re: ..and then there was one (753 at TCX)

I do wonder if the last major scheduled pax operation of the 757 will be 752 or 753. The raw numbers would say 752, but the CASM and general young age and low cycles of the world's 753 fleet may buy it more time than the 752. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many Hours the DE 53's have ?...

Re: LH A340 on fire in FRA now

Gonna be interesting to see, if it was in fact D-AIGV which was scheduled on LH482 to Tampa later on, what Bird will substitute for it. I wouldnt hold my hopes up high to see her flying again, the Damage looks pretty substantial on the Nose section even though that Bird is fairly young with just ove...
