Many factors contributed to BN's demise, which has been well documented. The AA hub certainly didn't help matters.

Re: La Compagnie adds EWR-MXP & TLV (Via ORY)

Is this a B6 thread or a La Compagnie thread? I don't think United, with its 2 EWR-TLV flights and non stop to MXP is worried. La Compagnie can take the bottom feeders. La Compagnie will take the top feeders, not the bottom ones. Highly unlikely since it would require a stop at ORY first. Out of NY...

This is going to draw a lot of customers from BTV who want direct flights to RSW/FLL Most people in the BTV area who want that are probably already going to PBG which has RSW and FLL. I don't see WN ever flying STL-PLS. PLS is a small, specialty Caribbean market compared to NAS, MBJ, PUJ. In fact, WN only flies to PLS from FLL right now, not even BWI. And as someone who flies to PLS every year, even the AA/DL/UA have a few flights to their large eastern hubs. It's not a knock on...

Let's turn the question around. What routes XNA-xxx could WN operate to yield a station with 12+ flights a day? There's little demand to DEN, CHI, or WAS. 1X LAS, 1X DAL and 1X MCO doesn't justify a new station. WN opens stations these days with less than 12 flights per day. Not all traffic is Walm...
