As previously mentioned above, there are times where DL has multiple mainline aircraft on the ground at the same time with all gates occupied. As someone who utilizes his ZED benefits frequently, I have had to sit and wait for a gate on several occasions. I would think the expansion is geared more t...Jump to post
1220CT General Departure Delays: at [BNA] Due to [ TM Initiatives:Metering:VOL ] traffic is experiencing Gate Hold and Taxi delays between 15 minutes and 29 minutes in length and increasing. What's going on? No weather issues. I’m on DL flight to ATL, which was just held ~25 mins due to traffic in ...Jump to post

I'm still wondering how the new IAB with 6 gates will be utilized. Yes, BNA is growing, but we'll never need 6 international gates. I'm thinking at least 4 will be common use, or at least possibly utilized by DL/AA since they're losing gates. With regards to new air service, the only domestic carri...Jump to post
Hear some rumblings of LF adding MCN and IND from BNA by the end of the year. Source? Just casual airline employee talk on the bus to the parking lot. Nothing too much, but it was a Contour employee explaining things. Expect good things from Contour for BNA. 7 days until the Jetstream rides off int...Jump to post
Does anyone care that LF continues dropping....? Is Contour dropping routes? Not at all and TUP goes ERJ eff. April 1. The Jetstream is being retired. As for as the comment, he is referring to load factor. "Bluegrass" has a perpetual habit of baseless negative remarks about BNA. It is exp...Jump to post
Contour is switching their Tupelo flight to a E135 on April 1. https://www.hmgaerospace.com/news/lara/contour-acquires-five-erj-135/ Good. They should take over BNA-MEM from Southern Airways Express while they are at it. It does look like the frequencies decrease to 3x Sun-Fri and 2x Saturday. But ...Jump to post
Lexy and Runner....keep living the dream that BNA O&D is filling every seat....even when you include the Amazon and E&Y job adds...over 7 years.....Nashville O&D is not filling all those seats. 3M-4M is connecting per year on WN via the FOCUS Operation at BNA. Heck if SDF keeps adding f...Jump to post
Presuming you're referring to MSP-ATL, I can't say it's much of a shock. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I'd think the fact that MSP-ATL is (presumably) a major DL hub-to-hub route might have hurt WN a little bit. In addition, WN also reduced ATL-BOS to 1 daily departure in Summer 2019...Jump to post
It seems to me that this would be the biggest trial run of a spoke city that DL wants to become a focus city since RDU and/or SEA. The top destinations I would imagine they would add first are DEN/DFW/EWR/ORD/PHX/IAH/SFO, if I had to guess. IDK, odd how there hasn't been a ton of details about it j...Jump to post
Hmmm.... interesting LF has sent one of their aircraft to three places in the past few weeks - all seem a little odd but certainly not impossible imo One of their E135s has been to JWN (Nashville's John Tune Airport), BDL, and FNL (Northern Colorado Regional) from MCN in the past several weeks. As ...Jump to post

Does the 12.1% drop in LF for BNA in August cause any of you cheerleaders to wonder if maybe...just maybe...BNA is over-served? I mean I hate to state the obvious here.... but when new service is introduced it is quite normal to have soft loads to start. My point is part of the influx in available ...Jump to post
If you are a DL FF why would you ever choose the WN option? Answer - never. Gold and above can change. Status on WN? Huh? A List and a drink. Whoopee. Again, would love to see WN win this battle because would like to see WN expand short haul flying. Just don't see it happening on BNA-ATL unless WN ...Jump to post
I learned from a reliable source that WN will get all of D, and give away 2-3 on C. That seems fair. Would those C gates be used to entice new carriers or would AA get them? Those 2-3 gates would be given up for new carriers. I assume C13-C15 would be the ones Southwest gives up. They’d welcome Spi...Jump to post
It bothers me to no end that SEA has up to FOUR flights a day to BNA, and PDX has ZERO. Simply ridiculous. (2x AS, 1x DL, 1x WN in the summer months). I thought DL had 2 per day as well? I could definitely be wrong about that though. Looking into September, I'm only seeing 1x daily on a 738. I'm on...Jump to post
I am curious as to what the tipping point was for OneJet. Seems like they were doing ok until Contour started flying those ex UA/EV ERJs on J1's behalf and things went downhill from there. I can tell you that the flying of the ERJs has zero to do with OneJet's demise. OneJet is a ponzi scheme pure ...Jump to post
That's one helluva "technical issue" that not only grounds all of PSA flights but that also results in AA cancelling all of theirs. i get that PSA feeds mainline AA a lot of traffic, but I don't understand AA canceling all their flights. AA can't even operate ANY flights??? Very odd. I am...Jump to post

I do know this for fact. B-11 can accommodate as it is on the corner of B. I didn't think it was possible either at first, however, I have seen the re-drawn lines and it works. Contour and Boutique have been given 2 positions B-9A and B-9B. Neither airline have RON and that is all Delta will use it...Jump to post
BA will be a B-11. Contour and Boutique have both been moved to B-9 effective yesterday. Do you know this for a fact? If so, this is surprising, considering B isn’t where AA and the admirals club is and MNAA’s statement about B being too small for anything larger than a 737. I do know this for fact...Jump to post
Personally I see DL eventually moving to do all it's own "regional" flying via 9E. It gives it flexibility and the ability to control it's product which is harder when you contract out. Even though they owned XJ I don't think it was scalable to what they wanted which is why they sold it t...Jump to post
I'm happy, 9E is a much better operation than EV and the employees are better as well. Life just got a lot more difficult for a large group of people through no fault of their own and you're happy?
