Re: Philippine Aviation Thread - 2020

There seems to be some miscommunications about the resumption of domestic flights..... :? https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2020/06/01/2017952/cab-airlines-cancel-domestic-flights How frustrating this must be for the airlines with CAB raining on their parade when they (CAB) had enough time to clar...

So what’s gonna happen to PAL then? “In its 2019 annual report released only yesterday, PAL Holdings Inc., citing the coronavirus pandemic which has shut down global travel since March 2020, said: “A material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the Group’s (PAL) ability to continue...

How much of an impact this rumor will make anyway if executed? Will it also involve sacking of people?

And should it remain a rumor, what move do we think is best then for CX?

There is no load 15 report on the A350, if required landing data is downloaded onto a usb and emailed to Airbus.

Interesting. Thank you for the info!

Re: A350 Flight Deck Printer?

The printer can be inoperative under MMEL but imagine the implication of not having it - like for example that there would be no auto print of Report 15 (suspected hard landing).

Re: Financial VS Operating Lease

Hi everyone, I'd like to understand what are the benefits for an airline to lease an aircraft via an Operating lease instead of a Financial lease. Major Operating lessors are guys like GECAS, Avolon, CDB, NAC Aviation while Financial lessors are usually banks. Regarding the airline what is the bene...

Hi every one! I would like to know which kind of quick disconnect for CRJ (200, 700, 900 & 1000) is needed for our hydraulic ground support equipment? I've heard that is the same for the 4 of us but not sure. Someone gave me the following : AE99147E, AE99118G and AE99147J but don't know if it's...

Anyone knows the status of the FALs (Toulouse, Hamburg, Mobile, Tianjin) if they are to temporarily close down? Tianjin closed for a while but they're now operating under skeletal force. I mean how can an aircraft delivery happen if the operator's designated team is unable to travel because of the c...

This is a test on operators how quick thinking they can be by being creative. Of course they will not just simply sit around with their airworthy-grounded planes. Each has their own methods to preserve cash but to maintain liquidity (have cashflow coming in), they need options which operating a pax ...

To many it is too early to realize the effect for the fact that HMV are scheduled pretty much ahead.
