31 million EUR (!!!) or 7.75 million EUR per year. That is absolutely insane. Something like 3.1 million euro would make more sense. This is for the two routes - OSR-VIE, OSR-MUC, so half of that for each (roughly). I don't know the parameters of the tender - guessing they require 10 flights weekly...

FWIW, fares on EWR-PRG are relatively high and planes consistently 80%+ full, including up front. Not sure about yields though. I hope UA or AA will consider a year-round service to Prague soon!

A whole new connectivity with the rest of Europe will be required to make this a successful strategy, IMHO.
