They should have taken a leaf out of Jetstars book from the start with how they are working flight credits because it's worked wonders multiple times and incredibly simply to use. Speaking of JQ, I had to ring them last week to change the return leg on a holiday flight after the outbound leg had al...Jump to post

It’s interesting what Rex will do if they can’t get any more VA 737s, will they run a mixed config fleet? Or stump up the cash to refit every frame, or the non standard frames to the VA config/ their own new config. FWIW, they've removed the headrests from the back half of the plane. Looks like the...Jump to post
I noticed that on some of the video TR’s for Rex’s inaugural flights they’ve removed the headrests on the back half of the plane (while keeping VA’s colour scheme on the seats). Is this a sign that down the track Rex will be trying to do a one size fits all approach (LCC style service down the back,...Jump to post
VA adopting some bait and switch tactics with their recent air fare sales. Was meant to go to Melbourne this weekend, but that got scuttled, so decided to try Sydney late next week instead. Free food and drink - you mean the singular rum ball or half a muesli bar they give you and a mini can of coke? Honestly nothing of value is lost with this. It existed purely so they could say they provide free food and drink on a technicality. Can of Coke? Outside of 'happy hour' it was juice/wate...Jump to post

Its not so much the capacity that isnt being used, but the underlying cost to run a 72 vs a 42 which will be the problem.
