And it looks like N740AX, which isn't an Amazon dry-lease, but is used by ABX quite often on Amazon work, is now getting a much-needed coat of paint at ROW. It will be interesting to see whether they do the full ABX livery on the tail or just paint the tail all-white. 740 has been looking pretty-ra...Jump to post
Looks like the next 737-800 is out. N855DM ferried to Paris for Boeing to showcase BCF.

Good catch!! Oddly, I can't figure out which aircraft this is (or these are), either under its/their xxxDM tail number or xxxxA tail number.
N843DM in ANC last night

Amazon's next 737-800 (N843DM) is headed stateside. 843 will become N5113A.
Air Cargo News has a story confirming Southern Air (Atlas) will be operating the 737-800F in the US . Southern just had a 734F position to CVG this past week. Is this for DHL ops or are Amazon testing? Southern Air operate five daily routes in the DHL network. N305GT, N306GT, N307GT, N309GT and N31...Jump to post
N798AX arrived back into CVG this evening wearing the white ABX Air (2012) livery. There is only one 767-200 in DHL livery for ABX Air. 798 began pulling double duty at the beginning of the year for DHL and Amazon. It will be interesting to see how much longer this aircraft will fly.Jump to post
I would be surprised if the 737 goes to anyone besides Southern Air. It makes too much sense to just add it to the Atlas/Southern lease and with the added bonus that Southern Air has 737 typed pilots rather than finding a new operator to take them. Looks like this 737 will be operated by West Atlan...Jump to post
Anyone have any idea what N752AX is doing @ ROW? Flew there on 1/19. Looks like it was paint. Back in service today, with a round-trip CVG-ORD under an ABX 2000 flight number. Not sure what service that is; 2000-series is not usually DHL. And I think ABX is now down to a single 767-200 route for DH...Jump to post
So N1619A is finally done with conversion at TLV, and flew TLV-PSM-AMA today (8/25/18) for paint. Arrived TLV 11/30/17. So that was a 9-month project. The last 767-300 for Atlas/Amazon-Air that is currently in conversion is N1487A at TLV. It arrived there about 5 days after 1619A, so hopefully will...Jump to post

With the uncertainty over future DHL use of various parts of ABX's fleet, it makes sense to mothball it for now. If utilization of the ABX 762 fleet rises in the future, they can always do the bulkhead mod later and put it back into service or send it to a foreign DHL operation or other crap carrie...Jump to post
Looks like N775AX (ln 69) is being moved to DHL International. Also, N792AX (ln 110) seems to have been retired due to upcoming maintenance. It was scheduled to have an aft bulkhead replacement in the coming months. So just to clarify: They're now NOT going to do the bulkhead swap on N792AX and it'...Jump to post
More activity... 1) N364UP (UPS) has left @HND on 2/2 after decommissioning from the JAL fleet. This is the third and last ex-passenger frame under the UPS-JAL agreement. It has joined the other two frames in @GYR prior to cargo conversion. 2) As mentioned above, N155FE (Fedex) has been delivered f...Jump to post

New paint? From the SDRs it looks like it underwent a heavy check in May of 2017. 60,000 hours and 42,000 cycles.
But, it is interesting that it is just a matter of parking spaces. I assure you, the hub/sort itself is NOT maxed out. The daytime sort is very slow, the staffing level for ground employees is low, and the ramp looks like a ghost town with so few aircraft out there (Mon-Fri). I would estimate that ...Jump to post
That said, this could explain why the latest conversion, N1399A, which goes into service in a few months, is originally being painted all-white. Prepping for a rollout of a new livery? Perhaps more likely is that Atlas is going to fly it around a bit before placing it into service for Amazon. Or ma...Jump to post
Do we know what type of aircraft Connie has pulled? Always nice to see old friends back working for a living. Do we know the tail numbers for the Atlas 747s operating for FEDEX? I believe their agreement calls for 5 airframes each "Peak" for the foreseeable future. Only see four Atlas tai...Jump to post
N762CK (Kalitta Air) was delivered on 23-Nov to @OSC following cargo conversion @MEX. This is the first 763 Cargo for Kalitta and also the first 763 Cargo conversion for @MEX. It becomes the third place to covert 763s after @TLV and @QPG. @TPE will become #4 early in 2018. LN 436, 1992-build, origi...Jump to post
