Well it could happen any time specially when your tired or when crew are not concentrated.
I have an ATC friend that told me that most of wrong landing occurs when two runways are parallel to each other ( 35R & 35L ), or when landing on runway 13------ or ------31 .

Well it's a good idea but it will need a huge number of towing trucks to tow every arriving or departing a/c. I remember there was a suggestion by an Airbus engineer to add an independent taxi system ( taxi without engines on ) to the aircrafts, that will allow aircrafts to taxi by wheel power only ...
