Whilst its great to see MME getting some love, I'm sceptical about the viability of these routes... with the leakage to LBA, MAN, NCL, these routes are unlikely to stay for long without some support from government.

Do the aircraft parked at gate 151 at TBIT have to reverse all the way out to the main taxiway, I arrived into terminal 4 on the TBIT side and it looked a bit tight around 151 and it didn't look spacious enough to swing an aircraft round in it.

Depends on where you are travelling to and from. I live in the UK and travel to the states regularly so my best bet is OneWorld, however, my one piece of advice is don't let loyalty blind you. If you are based in an area with no dominant airline, then don't pick a side.

If UA can move their B737MAX fleet around without pax onboard then can they not repaint those as they are sat idle. Whilst they certainly are not in need of a repaint, wouldn't it be wise to repaint them now rather then take them out of service in future years? The MAX may not be the best poster ch...

Yes that's correct but there are also many (huge) differences also. BA has over half the slots in LHR which means they have it pretty sewn up. Vs have a handful. How long until AA launches MXP-PHL. If so, would it mean the end of JFK-MXP? I think JFK-MXP is operated by the B772, which they dont have at PHL, as I think PHL is just A330/B763. So they couldn't just move that 772 onto PHL-MXP, perhaps a bit of a reshuffle at MIA may be necessary to free up a B763.
