Well, the other problem, is where to put preclearance at PTY? Unless they decide to close the north pier (muelle norte) with its 12 gates for US flights, I don't see any other place where you can fit that, as the satellites are too small (6 gates each or 8 gates if they close them in the hallway lea...

That would be interesting Though it seems more likely that there'll be CBP preclearance in BOG instead of PTY, I'd love if PTY does get preclearance. No, PTY most likely will not get pre clearance. Even CM's CEO is against it. With Pre clearance, CM will not be able to have connections to the US of less than 1 hour as they do now.

CM says that PTY-SJO-SAP would start in 2006. I clearly remember that flight operated by E90s basically. So it was removed from the map. On the contrary, CM PTY-SAP 7x weekly is active. Not likely. CM may be also replacing its E190 as well in the near future. The only thing to ask is, will CM go for a full B737 fleet or upgrade to the E2 when the E1 are to be replaced?
