Re: Amazon to open a air hub in Lakeland Florida

For clarification, it's essentially moving it's Ops from TPA to LAL, of which TPA already has pretty substantial Amazon Air Ops and can't support the growth (space) wise going forward. And if you're familiar with geography, LAL is literally smack in the middle of Orlando and Tampa metro's and their...

I love you folks but DFW is so much harder to connect in than ATL. DEN and DTW are probably the real dreams as US hubs go. I suppose compared to PHL, IAH or MSP, its easy. Amazon clearly understands that if you plan to commit to an area, you figure out your wildest-imaginable 25-year plan, in "phases", and you get approvals for it up front, while public officials are still trying to lure you to their area. Once you have invested $1 billion, you're stuck the...

I doubt it. Getting rid of IFE just makes sense. As legroom shrinks and seatbacks get thinner, the space of the equipment matters as much as the cost. They probably spend more maintaining IFEs than when they first buy them. Eventually ALL US3 will get decent WIFI and then people will forget what IF...

I’ve seen a couple flights into DFW where the scheduled A220 was swapped out, including an LGA-DFW flight which was swapped for a 738 - DFW RARELY sees anything other than 319s, 712s or regionals, so seeing a 738 on a scheduled flight into DFW was a shock - so that might explain the swaps.
