NY Center also prob can't even handle dual runways take-offs from PHL with all the traffic they also have from EWR, JFK, LGA, HPN, Teterboro, etc. That whole area of airspace is so ridiculously congested.

Re: DFW 2018 Developments

Is it likely AA will have any issue with weight restrictions or need a refueling stop on the KEF to DFW flt (or maybe even DFW-KEF)?? Seems like it was fairly common for MAN-JFK to have to stop and refuel some earlier this year and that is a few hundred miles shorter than KEF-DFW. However it seems l...

Re: American Airlines Main Cabin Extra 777-200ER Question

The seats will be leather on the 772. MCE is sticking around still with PE being added. Might be less MCE (not sure on that), but MCE and PE are definitely still going to be together. AA increased it's MCE service (unlimited alcohol, dedicated bin space), so it sounds very much like they don't plan ...

Thank you for your replies. So generally speaking it seems like when all else is equal, weather, distance, full cargo and passengers, it seems a 772ER can go furthest, right about same as 787-8 (maybe more?), then A332, then lastly A333? I am not worried about it is a rev pax, but in June I am book...

Weight Restriction A333 vs B772 vs B788?

I have an airline friend who was left behind in FCO recently because the FCO-CLT flt on an A333 was weight restricted leaving 14 nonrevs behind. I know several factors come into play, payload (cargo), weather, etc, but generally on a route of equal distance like FCO-CLT, which aircraft would be more...

Sadly Pilots (and FA's) are just like other people, some are great, some are fine, some are giant dbags. I've experienced many Pilots and FA's who were condescending and acted like they were my boss or something. I'm sure some CSA's can act the same in return sadly. People just need to learn how to ...

Probably depends on the way it's done. Most airlines systems as far as I know have the capability to just add a bag to your reservation, but some agents just do the check-in option and do the bag that way. If it's done the latter, it automatically prints them. In my time with AA, I would recommend p...

It depends on how long you are staying at places, if it's connecting or visiting for more than 12 hours... International will be free, but any onward flights (not connections) will cost $25 for first bag $35 for second bag if by yourself normally. However, I believe with airpass depending on the tie...
