I personally like the 3f proposal because it makes room for development in the future on the north side of Terminal 4. I also think it would better suit AA for expansion (I know it does not seem likely now but maybe in the future).
Also, has anyone seen renderings for the S1 concourse?
They should if it doesn't make money -- or if they'd make more money with the aircraft at DFW/CLT/LAX. PHX is problematic because it offers few unique benefits to the network and AA is unlikely to ever achieve dominance in the market. WN is the market leader in most head-to-head non-stop markets fr...Jump to post

And, "watch this space" in terms of AA @ PHX and developments regarding same somewhat imminently...
The international arrivals facility is in the same terminal as the WN gates at PHX, so connections from international flights to domestic flights at PHX would be possible on WN if WN adds nonstop international flights out of PHX. Concourse B is also already connected to Concourses C and D at PHX be...Jump to post
Nice to see the A321 show up for CLT. AA has ran BNA-LAX 3x daily before. Those were all A319s if I’m not mistaken. I would like to see PHX, but I’m not sure it’ll happen. Seeing mainline on DCA would be nice too. I don't think PHX happens because I don't see AA expanding in PHX. I'm convinced the ...Jump to post

Is it likely the author of this article knows something we don't know about new international flights?

Looks like the year is off to a good start with pax increases from AA and WN!
Looks like Air Canada Rouge flights to Montreal are doing well. Seasonal service next year will start in September and go through May.

IF BA can make PHX work with a 744 with a Premium configuration( including 14 First seats) another airline with a large fortress European hub should be able to make something work with a 787, A330 or 772ER with a more Y seats and only 30 to 40 J class seats. As someone observed PHX has a population...Jump to post
Does anyone have an idea when PHX will release it's total passenger count for 2017, they seem to move pretty slow at releasing that information. DIA released their numbers within a few days of the new year. Hopefully it went up over last year. I doubt it will go up compared to 2016. AA still had a ...Jump to post
I really like the LH yellow. I hope they don't take it away with this new livery.Jump to post
I think it is very hard to micro-compare hubs vs different airline. Even if you DID have good data which we do not. One thing I took at is capacity transitions. If AA DFW-TPA went from 8x to 10x (say), that tells me the planning team was pleased with the results on DFW-TPA recently. This gives you ...Jump to post
Thanks for sharing. PHX has to have the most boring 40million. 737s and A320s with the occasional non AA/WN bird and the BA 747. Don't get me wrong, hometown airport, Love to see the numbers up. The scale of passenger flights in the US is amazing. That is moving a lot of people. I agree - that is t...Jump to post
This has been covered many times, but the 787 isn't going to FI. They cancelled and sold them on in 2011, but for some reason they're still listed to FI on wikipedia or somewhere leading to this misunderstanding. FI only has 17 MAXs on order. Icelandair is still listed with one 787-8 on Boeing webs...Jump to post
Since UA has a lounge in T2, which will be demolished, what do you all think will happen to it My understanding was that there was only 1 lounge space in the new T3S so if DL & UA both cohabitate in T3S, I'd see DL as being the one that wants the lounge more. I thought DL would stay in T3N, and...Jump to post
