With Delta's investment in LATAM, SkyTeam will become #1 in Latin America with dual west-east hubs in SCL & GRU. If LATAM will join the Skyteam. ===================================================================================================== Yesterday I spotted a KLM 77W landing in SGN. I ...Jump to post
Interesting to see DELTA 8958 from KWI to AMS.
Is it a cargo-only plane as it came from ATL on 28/03 and flew to Dubai (DWC) on 29/03 and onwards to Kuwait (KWI) on 31/03.
It's planned to fly Amsterdam > Minneapolis > El Paso > Detroit

Delta flying ORD-AMS on DL3346 with B777 now.
UA is flying 2 B777W EWR-AMS at the moment, UA2814 and UA2781.
All cargo or picking up Americans to get back ?
Sunday afternoon (local time / Amsterdam) the last KL 747 passenger will arrive at AMS airport. Anyone an idea where the PH-BFC is going to. See it on flioghtradar24 going South with a strange flightnumber (FYG21X). https://www.flightradar24.com/FYG21X/2444259a Ended up in Johannesburg (JNB), Was grounded 03/2018 ? The last part of the flight was at 45.000 feet, so it was proably empty. I ask...Jump to post
With all the flight cancellations to South America what's happening with the high value and time sensitive cargo normally carried by American and other passenger carriers. Here is an example of what is happening on Latin American flights to/from Europe. KLM is operating its B77W as 'Freighters' bet...Jump to post

My company Ground Ops on HNL are being told tomorrow (23 March) there will be 8-10 pax flights from the cargo ramp operating as evac flights for 2 cruises ships that came into port. I understand the cargo operations will be disrupted due to very limited ramp space. Can anyone confirm or provide add...Jump to post
Two empty planes, one operated by KLM from AMS and another one by Iberia from MAD, were unable to land at GYE due to multiple police cars belonging to the local police blocking the runway. I guess i woke up today in a strange surreal world. Guayaquil mayor orders city cars to block the runway and prevent IB6453 from landing. The plane had crew only and was going to pick up and repatriate stranded Spanish nationals. Finally the plane landed in Quito. Same thing happened to a KLM fligh...Jump to post
It's also officially announced , I think this picture is taken from a message internally :

Dutch authorities yesterday announced : flights from China, Iran, Italy and South Korea are not allowed to land in the Netherlands anymore if they departed after friday 18:00 CET. Interesting to see KE925 from ICN to AMS is still on it's way. KLM announced it will phase out it's remaining 747 passen...Jump to post
I really don't understand why the USA is not banning domestic travel. Trump looks at the Schengen countries and not the UK. Really unbelievable looking at the numbers. Would be nice to know the load-figures of for example KL and AF this morning. Seems DL47 and UA71 and even KL641 are on normal sched...Jump to post
And what about flying domestic in the USA ? Is that still allowed ?
Italy is almost isolated since monday. But some states are as big as one of the countries in Europe. Does Trump also consider that ?
BA196 Houston to London Heathrow is flying on to Frankfurt after two missed approaches. Seems all of the airports in UK and Ireland are having trouble. QR3 has just gone around at LHR, looks to have been the second missed approach. You mean QR7? The A35K? It was scheduled to land at 13.20, so is ac...Jump to post
Air France just cancelled AF138 which was scheduled for this afternoon (EU time)
I thought this was a pickup flight.
But it seems there will be the hifly a380 doing the European pickup
AF138 is scheduled 29/01/2020 15:15 (CET) CDG-WUH
I think this is the 1st of 2flights. 1st would have French people only as stated in the news this morning
This morning on Dutch radio : the Dutch government is discussing why KLM did only stop flying over Iran after the Ukrain-plane was crashed. It's indeed an interesting question. After the MH17 disaster the Dutch should avoid all those airspaces which are conflict areas. On the other end : where does ...Jump to post
A bit late isn't it? And what does it mean "over dangerous parts" in Iran ie they still overfly Iran? Those are the OP’s words. The article simply states that they’ve stopped overflying Iran and Iraq. In fact the news article changed this morning. First it states "parts of Iran"...Jump to post

Additionally KLM is considering changing the carry on rules anyway due to problems. Reason is increase of delays due to the amount of carry on items since KLM started charging for checkin luggage. Does anyone know what the original next flight was for the aircraft comprising DAL9928? I’m curious to see how Delta handles it. This is a seasonal flight. It actually has been performing very well, with load factors of 83% in the second set of 6 months of operation. Would I be surprised if it was discontinued? Yes. I check the fares frequently because I fly to AMS all the time and they seem to be consistently... high. That'...Jump to post
