The A321 is too big an aircraft for many a QR market especially during winter season when passenger loads fall considerably..In the Balkan regions QR flights have 50-70pax on a A320,which is configured in a very spacious layout compared to the 174-180 eurostandard..Imagine on A321..I can understand...

Abu Dhabi Airport twitter confirmed an incident has occurred; however the UAE government denied the drone attack. Flights were delayed upon landing though, Im not sure if thats normal or as a precautionary measure.

I would assume that if they need ever a third runway, they will build into the water. If they would have planned to integrate the runway from the old airport, they would have build it differently. QR too used to fly the a320 to LHR. That’s over 2800 miles.


QR never flew A320's to LHR. There was the short-lived All J A319LR flying the route--which was replaced by 787, and now A359.
