I connected in Frankfurt from Singapore to London the other day and had to go through security.
Jump to postComing home to AKL from CHC last Thursday, arrived 2.30 and encountered a queue stretching past the escalator coming up from security control, and it was back to the food outlets. I thought it must be a queue for a flight and walked around it, however it was for the Koru lounge, never seen a queue ...
Jump to postThis is so good to see. The Concorde I flew is now in Barbados and years ago we cruised down to see it and I sat in my seat once more. But I heard that the exhibit is now closed. In my life, I have always followed Russian aeronautics. It is sad to think that it’s airplane industry too will tank. I made a trip one year to Russia and I toured St. Petersburg and Moscow - and both did not disappoint. Putin had not taken over yet and both cities were lively and I thought Russia ...

This morning just behind EK8 into Heathrow at 7:50 I saw what looked like a 747 just behind it (I think 748). It had some type of lines on the nose. I went on both flightradar and flightaware but couldn't see it which was strange. Anybody know what it is?

Jump to postThe Air France livery is also from the mid to late 1970s.
