And on beautiful 787s pretty much all of AA's new routes. Not 767s and 330s like DL's most international routes. Not to mention that a lot of those new routes are not served by any other US airline. Also, I can only imagine the backlash on here if AA did not serve places like Hong Kong and New Zeal...

Great additions.

AA is the only US airline to fly to Hungary, Poland, Morocco, Croatia and serve Athens from two different US cities.

Anyone knows if they extended Athens from Chicago until the end of October for next year? Prague, Budapest and Krakow say they are until the end of October so I would think Athens too?

By the end of September, all 8 319 Airbus from Frontier should be flying. 4 of them are currently flying if I'm not mistaken. 4 more to come. That is correct. The company just sent out a message regarding these aircraft 4 are already in service. The remaining 4 have the following expected delivery ...

By the end of September, all 8 319 Airbus from Frontier should be flying.

Even Vasu Raja, VP of Planning at AA, openly mentioned that they are thinking of JFK - ATH at a recent OneWorld meeting in London and that they are blown away by how well the new ORD - ATH route is performing.

My sources say that if AA adds a third Athens, it will be from JFK to capture the massive New York traffic that Philadelphia and Chicago can't capture. Nice adds for AA at JFK.

More Europe is coming too. Don't be surprised if they announce JFK - ATH for next season. Athens makes tons of money for AA from Philadelphia and Chicago.

I wonder what is going to happen with all the 737s MAX that were supposed to have been delivered already so far this year once the plane is allowed to fly again. Will they be delivered all at once or it is going to take a while?

Qantas and AA will own the US - Australia market.

With that behind, AA should now focus on their relationship with China Southern and LATAM.

They should also figure out how to make their JV with Japan Airlines more profitable.

In many of the cities they call focus cities or even hubs other legacy airlines are bigger than them and they don't consider them anything.

American and United would never call such tiny operations hubs and focus cities. It is laughable.

With the Qantas joint venture now behind them, American should focus on LATAM, getting Aer Lingus to become part of the transatlantic joint venture with IAG and strengthening ties with China Southern.
