I think outside of AA's hubs, BOS would qualify as the only focus city - it's where AA runs non-hub flights (MDT, ROC, SYR). PIT and RDU could possibly also qualify. I don't see how, despite large operations, CMH, IND or MCO would qualify as focus cities.

Atlantic City is more a regional tourism draw and those people drive.

The problem with any legacy adding flights is the proximity to PHL and EWR. There has to be enough demand for people to pay a premium to fly out of ACY. UA didn't find that was the case when they tried last.

MDT hasn't released July stats yet but AC had a 55% load factor in June when the 4x daily started. YTD load factor up to June was 45%. Don't know yields obviously but those numbers aren't great.

Unfortunate for MDT. I wonder if AC will be back. They were just upgraded to 4x daily, and although the load factors did take a hit, they moved the most amount of passengers to YYZ in years this summer.
