While this is obviously a competitive response to Breeze, it also proves that PVU has become a viable alternative to DL’s fortress hub at SLC. DL’s market control at SLC is not as bad as it was at CVG, Allegiant has proven that there is demand in the basin willing to use it for lower costs.

Of the 16 remaining men's teams, 13 are >350 miles to their regional site and will fly. The only ones who are under 350 miles are Purdue (playing in Detroit), Connecticut (playing in Boston), and Houston (playing in Dallas). Even then, Houston and Purdue may still fly despite being under 350 miles....

TPA, while on the surface sounds promising, will not work as yields are some of the lowest for major airports. Also, the Tampa Bay area, while growing, just doesn't have enough people. MCO has the space and the Orlando combined statistical area has the people. NK/F9/B9 are all struggling right now....

15 years ago, Sanford could have been a great choice, but it is landlocked by subdivisions now, and the NIMBY’s therein.
