Re: Flybe reveals updated livery

I think if the titles were enlarged on the front, I would like it a lot of a lot more. Its not the end of the world, but it is very bland - larger titles would help remedy this IMO.

Re: The ecological point of view - Do you look at your ecological footprint when you travel?

Do you look at your ecological footprint when you travel? Does this matter for your travel plans? Do you take this into account when choosing your flight itinerary? Having thought about this for a while, I regrettably am not particularly eco-friendly when it comes to flying. I will look at my ecolo...

Re: Out of this world upgrades and downgrades!

Wasn't actually on it, but saw on Flightradar24 that DL JFK-EDI was subbed from a 752 to an A320. I was quite confused when I saw it, and I wonder why this was the case... :scratchchin:

Re: Qatar Airways plans to fly to 250 destinations by 2022

I'd imagine QR is also eyeing NCL, given EK's performance in that market. Does NCL really have the demand for a second ME3 carrier? I know Emirates is doing very well on the route, but I would have thought that NCL is too close to EDI, which QR serves, to start flying there. It would be great to se...

A fairly large order would certainly boost Bombardier - the C series is a great aircraft, but is currently lacking momentum...

Re: Snow due in UK from mid-week.

Well, last time very heavy snowfall was predicted in the UK, at least in the north east where I am, no such "amber warning" snow materialised. We'll see about this time...

Re: A330neo for the Lufthansa Group

Lufthansa has 20 777-9s on order to replace their 747-400s. I guess that the 787-9/-10 or the 777-8 might be better for them to replace their A330s and A340s, to allow more pilot flexibility.

However, I could see the A330neos entering service with Eurowings, die to their current long haul fleet...

Re: The undisclosed european CSeries customer

I think Widerøe, Flybe, Air France/Cityjet, and LOT would be good candidates. If Flybe do order more jets in the future i believe they'll be E175s or maybe the E190 e2. They are about the right size jet for them and what they do and i don't believe they'd put in a big order probably 10 or 12 with t...
