Re: American Airlines Network Thread - 2020

I know the airline as of last week could not confirm what base would crew BLR, I tend to believe it will LAX. Maybe PHX will get the SEA-LHR flight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Seems to me if the airplane will be coming from LAX, wouldn't that indicate that the LAX base will crew the SEA-BLR...

Re: Austin Texas Aviation Thread - 2020

AUS put out a press statement celebrating Spirit's first international flight to CAN and their 1 year at the port. It's pretty impressive that they'll be up to 13 cities next month. As a reminder, here are all the new flights: *Feb 26th, Cancun, Spirit Mar 26th, Nashville, Spirit Mar 26th, Newark, ...

Re: Rumour: Virgin Atlantic to announce W20 schedule with new routes

I've heard the rumor that VS is interested in SAN and AUS, BA is doing quite well on these two routes and I believe there's a room for VS to step in. If it’s Austin, that’ll be pretty insane. KLM to Amsterdam, Norwegian adding an addition LGW frequency and starting CDG... Can they sustain a third c...

Re: Austin Texas Aviation Thread - 2020

I’m going to go out on a limb and unless there is an economic downturn nationally I expect TPAC by 2023. The TATL traffic has just been expanding so fast I think someone will give it a try. Transatlantic is expanding so fast because airlines don’t act rationally. Austin-Europe has way too much capa...

Just did some bookings and the A350 is not year round, only until October 24th, then back to a 777.

I wonder if this is the start of more P2P flights out of BOS, AA has a lot of gates to play around with and they still have a decent sized FF base in BOS It could be, or it could the AUS side, cause they added SJC and SJD from there as well. You could see them expand to bring some traffic on the LH...

A few months ago I had a good conversation with the Chief pilot of the 752/763 fleet, and he said the 767 could 100% fly out of EGE, they just don't have the loaders for it, and the capacity to handle it on the terminal side, but with loads and the actual performance of the aircraft hot and heavy, ...
