If they were spun off as an independent airline, it would be awesome if they relaunched the Caledonian Airways brand, especially for the long haul ops. The question is who owns the brand these days? (possibly MT themselves or IAG?)

Loganair mentioned in a tweet a few weeks ago that there would be a big announcement on New Years Day. My guess would be that it's the official announcement of the order for the 20 ATR42s.

Another boost for INV: KLM have yet again adjusted the AMS-INV schedules, boosting the frequency up to 20 weekly during July - August period, using 2 E190s and 1 737-700. The S19 schedule is now: May-July, Sept-Oct: 15 Weekly (mainly E190s) July-August: 20 Weekly Hard to think that just 3 years ago ...

There's a lot of useful features for Loganair that the 600 is available with, such as the short-field pack and the Augmented Reality landing system that Aurginy are getting in their new ATRs.

I don't think that BA/IAG are entirely against domestic and regional links, there's been new successful domestic destinations in the last few years like INV, and of course the Citiflyer links from EDI, MAN .etc .

Wouldn't be the first time that's happened, Air Baltic are doing the same thing as A220s have better seat costs, although they have had to reduce frequencies to compensate.

The safety cards say A220, but the legal name is CSALP BD500 for the family, so the A220 name is equality valid as C Series.

I like the new "A210" and "A230" branding personally, its a refreshing change from the standard "A3" designation and shows its seperate heritage. It also seems to make room for an A320 replacement from the platform.
