Tomorrow’s 12:10pm flight to BUF on B6 is scheduled to operate on an a321 with the MINT configuration (#2215). Any thoughts as to why a mint plane would be used? My guess is that it is just a substitution for the normally used a320 during COVID. As to why they need to substitute it... I don’t know....

Just noticed that NK has 2x daily BOS-EWR scheduled to begin Nov. 18th per google flights and their website. Was this previously announced? The times leaving BOS are 7:00am and 2:09pm.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned, but I haven't seen it on any of the AA releases: are they still planning to resume BOS-LHR on their own metal later this year? I see it available to book on their website, but we all know that isn't always reliable :D Set to resume on 10/24... something weird ...

According to Airbus the runway legnth requirement for the 223 is 6,200ft. now, this is less than what MVY and HYA have to offer. Keeep in mind they do not have the 221 on order, only 223's. On a positive note I see SY has added service to MCO for the winter. Looks like 1x week with a Thurday departure and Sunday arrival. Must be rotating it on the MSP flights as well. Although happy for the service, SY is a weird airline... once a week seasonally? Give me a break...

Any idea why Boston has been getting Air Canada 7153 to Toronto on a 773 ER? I've seen it a few nights now. cargo charters. Not sure how long they're running for. Certainly an interesting sight to see Wonder what they are running through there, that's a lot of lift given their normal service to BOS...

No, you are correct. It is seasonal and ends October 24th. Source? Any GDS booking system. Seasonal service ends October 24th. You literally cannot book a flight for the route past that date. Why would it operate in the winter anyway? It’s a non-existent local market to a smaller sized hub and Bost...

Also just noticed that on DL's website AZ's FCO flight shows up as a 339 next summer. I never heard of anything regarding them getting 339's given their financial situation but the seat map shows a new configuration without their premium economy product... interesting.

The BOS wiki page has SU listed for BOS service starting in late December... the source is flight schedules for SU and a BOS flight on a 333 actually comes up. No bookings though... doubt this is true but if real they could have forgotten to hide the schedule before announcing the route.

Idk if anyone finds this interesting but back in 2017 I was put on a SFO-HNL extra flight (they added this flight because so many people misconnected or got booted of Hawaii flights that day)and it was on a 752 in p.s. configuration... any clue why? Just a spare plane that they could use?

Just because people have been talking about runway legnth... look at OGG. Their main runway is 6,995ft. long. This year they will have or have had flights on the following types of planes all to mainland as far as DFW: 772, 77W, 333, 789... it's amazing that that can even happen... blows my mind tha...

B6 1752 BOS-ACK 1st missed approach as well. It's scary because of it not being able to land due to weather. I bet the passengers on the flight are shaking their heads because they couldn't land after 3 tries!

I would say that DL is truly invested in BOS is they buy the a321XLR. I know they have already committed but it would be the perfect plane for them given Terminal A's size and the market that they have to work with.
