It sucks Allegiant hasn't grown more from IND. You would think they could run 5X weekly atleast to LAS. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk It's about aircraft time, they hardly run LAS-East of the Mississippi more than 3-4x weekly. G4's staffing model makes it hard to run Transcontinental flights...Jump to post
Except that abortion has killed far more humans than the Holocaust did. Ok, with all do respect, you are wrong and are you for real? What "abortion debate"? Roe vs. Wade is settled law. As settled as Dredd-Scott?.... American's actually growing faster in percentage terms YOY not only in comparison with UA at ORD but Not shown in UA is some upgauging at ORD. MSN, XNA, COS, GRB, SYR, GSO all see a lot of CRJ/ERJ > CR7 upgauging. ORD-CLE goes nearly all mainline (9x daily) during the week (except for Monday/Saturda...Jump to post

Fort Myers was the funny one for me when they announced it as something they serve. Not sure if this was even anywhere close to the actual 4,000,000th but a least they made some people happy. Everyone on the flight got a $50 travel voucher - which if "you spend just two bucks more can get you o...Jump to post
Only 3 flight a day between PHL and BDL? Wow, that’s such a change from past years. Are they eliminating some banks? I assume it's now mainline if it wasn't before, but that is a shocker. Sure it's not bank driven. I guess it wasn't profitable enough? As always, thanks for my favorite Sunday mornin...Jump to post
Question: when Singapore used an A340 (500?) to EWR nonstop, it was a nose to tail business class, right? My Question is the TOTAL weight of 1 pax in a Polaris seat would equal how many Y seats with 1 pax? Instead of blocking 40+ Y seats, would it not work better to use those empty blocked seats up...Jump to post
After growing DFW by nearly 100 daily departures this summer, FlightGlobal reports that American plans a similar increase next summer at Charlotte. https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/american-aims-to-capture-more-business-traffic-with-458591/ American is adding more than 100 flights to its D...Jump to post
Yes, UA is often in 4th place at most small to medium sized airports and flies a ton of 50 seaters. At BNA in particular, they fly a ton of RJ’s when they should be flying mainline (ORD, IAH and DEN come to mind) and they don’t even have a club here. Even AA is regressing a bit, they use to have al...Jump to post

IND would be lucky to get more than 2 destinations for B6 right out of the gate I assume it was just a demonstration scenario with no bearing on insider news. Five or more years from now, however, with United looking to build DEN to a 700+ departure/day primarily connecting hub, the business case could well be different. The June schedule is nearing completion for DL, and I anticipate few changes after this point regarding equipment. There's going to be A LOT of A321s. FWIW, DL has up-gauged the RON flight/ 6am FNT-ATL flight from an MD-88 to a 738 for Jan-Apr 2019. The "default" schedule beyond shows an MD-88 for May, CR9 for Jun-Aug, the MD-88 Sept and beyond. I don't usually agree with you, but I do agree with the notion DL is underutilizing DTW. LAX is important as it is huge O&D market, but BOS on the other hand makes zero sense to me. I’m amazed they don’t already fly that route with ATL being so close(in flight time). Is there a reason they don’t already fly there? Makes great sense with the runway extension but does this threaten UA's big entrance with IAD 3x and EWR/ORD on the weekends? I don't think DL has the room to put a 75W in Detroit unless they deploy D1 to LAX, SFO, PDX, SAN, or SEA and bridge the flight for BCN. The 76W is more flexible.
