Indian government is known to limit foreign airlines operating flights to India. That might come 'boomerang' for Indian carriers abroad. Since most of ASEAN destinations are tourist spots and 6E mostly does leisure traffic, I won't surprised if they keep using A321 neo. They can always size it down ...Jump to post

So, lets assume you were able to get approval from your country's government. First, try to collaborate with people who are like minded for the business. Second, choose a relatively minor airport as your hub. Get the airport privatized and make sure you can own the major share. That way u can avoid ...Jump to post
The Boeing 777 was more than an evolution, a game changer at the top end o the capacity market and indeed helped to kill of many planes. From an aesthetic point of view, I do not like it, the cockpit section just looks weird with the drop to the 767 nose, the -300 version does look like it does the...Jump to post

   Pity they were never that interested in using domestic widebody ops. They could utilize their BOM slots much better that way. Totally agree with the last two comments. Antarctica should be kept commercial flight-free, with only a limited number of cruise ships allowed to visit. My suggestion would be to pull B737s out of AUH and put them on domestic routes rather, as 9W is rapidly losing its market share and no new aircraft are expected at least until June ... 9W isn't going to take delivery any aircraft until the new airport in BOM is done which is expected around 2020. ...Jump to post

Can a off-duty pilot visit the flight deck anytime inflight? If the pilot can, can the pilot take the controls while relieving the active crew?
I'm sure this is very unprofessional on the crew's part but I can't see why it won't happen esp. when the crew and the off-duty pilot are good friends.
During one of the last air shows, CEO Fernandez made a tour through all the planes on static display while filming himself.
