Has anyone tried booking tickets on SQ using miles earned by buying stuffs at krisshopair.com? When I checked, the miles required to book round trip business class tickets took only 1/4 of the original price to earn.

My suggestion would be to pull B737s out of AUH and put them on domestic routes rather, as 9W is rapidly losing its market share and no new aircraft are expected at least until June ... 9W isn't going to take delivery any aircraft until the new airport in BOM is done which is expected around 2020. ...

Can a off-duty pilot visit the flight deck anytime inflight? If the pilot can, can the pilot take the controls while relieving the active crew?

I'm sure this is very unprofessional on the crew's part but I can't see why it won't happen esp. when the crew and the off-duty pilot are good friends.

Why do airlines give 'officially' printed boarding passes at the checkin counter when you have e-boarding pass printed already and ready to go? I have had this experience in almost of all AK, MH, Z2, MI and TR flights.
