I'd also like to thank you for your informative and detailed post
Took me back to the good old days off aviation when I first started my career
I'm still hanging in there after 30 years. Your post really highlights the changes the industry has experienced.

Thanks so much for this thread
You are bringing to life a period in aviation that unfortunately is a just a memory.
They were such exciting, heady times

I look forward to your next posts

Im going to throw a spanner in the works here...Now stay with me....
No one can argue that the Boeing 737 was/is a massive success for Boeing.
Now if you add 7 + 3 + 7 you get 17
1+7 = 8

Maybe the Chinese were right after all ;)))

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - December 2018

Helping at an old folk's home, cat shelter or opshop is contributing to the wider community. Unpaid volunteering for a multi billion dollar company simply isn't. Swapping a few hours in the office for working on the shop floor is great but coming into work for no extra pay is pretty stingy That, in...

Good for them
Its time that the industrial landscape was rebalanced a tad.
This part of the world lurching to far to the right for my liking and the workers are not getting fair compensation and conditions.
Strong, smart and fair unions are needed now more than ever

Re: Delta Intl’ Economy Meal Trial

Like somebody mentioned earlier, Qantas have been doing the same for a while now ... no trays. It is absolutely a cost saving measure in that all the work that was done by the catering staff has now been transferred to cabin crew. Everything is bulk loaded onto the aircraft and the crew have to asse...

Re: Leaked Sneak Peak: United New Uniforms
