You would think F9 (being a CO based airline) would be doing this for other "green" reasons....Jump to post
So if AA is moving KEF to PHL, and FI returns to DFW, will that mean that FI won the three way battle?Jump to post
Would be hilarious if El Al responded and added a flight TLV-DFW. I mean, AA does this to any International at DFW.Jump to post
I hope Fiji was serious about possibly adding service to DFW in the future once they get more planes.
I could see LATAM adding one day.
AA will continue to dominate DFW and attempt to run others off. That story will never change.
I put myself in the group of "let me see how it goes for the first year after reentering service." Once all the aircraft have been returned to their airlines for service I will wait a year to see if there are any issues (I pray there are not). After that first year my comfort level in flyi...Jump to post
AA and DFW just announced Terminal F at the State of DFW conference. 24 new gates to open by 2025. Also will renovate Terminal C. F will be both domestic and international.Jump to post
I always fly to FLL when I fly from DFW to go to Miami. You would think DFW-MIA would be the cheapest route, but I have always found DFW-FLL to be cheaper even on AA.Jump to post
Yeah, it's very good. Nice work United. Love the blue.Jump to post
My final guess based off the 757 contest titles placement and tail sneak peak in the video... https://i.imgur.com/S7cubco.png Not seeing anything on the belly in the tail image though it's hard to tell. One would have to think LATAM will eventually fly to DFW in the future. This is one I am surprised isn't already there.Jump to post
According to CBS DFW WN is suspending all operations at DAL tonight from 6pm to 10pm due to weather.Jump to post
On a slightly different note, United has announced the finalists for the special 757 livery: https://twitter.com/united/status/1116461733969846273 The placement of UNITED on the fuselage certainly seems to be confirmed, and we can make even more intelligent speculation as to their use of their new ...Jump to post

It HAS to eventually but isn't the airport terminal / boarding area too small to have mainline aircraft? (Can't fit all the passengers in the boarding area)
Has AC ever ran mainline between DFW and any of their Canadian markets? Many years ago. When AC started serving YYZ-DFW back in the 1970's they used 727-200's; later they went to DC9-30's. For many years, that was the extent of their DFW service. YUL-DFW-YUL and YVR-DFW-YVR have always been AC Expr...Jump to post

I really don't see this working, but good luck to them I guess.

Has AA ever attempted DFW-ZRH? Yes, they flew it for a few years in the early 2000s on the 763. I'm thinking it was a 2003 - 2005 time frame. I'm sure someone here will know the exact dates. DFW-ZRH stated in June 2000. They move ORD-ZRH over to DFW. I forget when it was discontinued. Around 2006 m...Jump to post

It really is one of the most vomit inducing planes I have ever seen.
Have you seen the new Lufthansa livery?
I think it is a harmless special livery. Not bad. Remember it could have been as ugly as the Fort Worth special Spirit once had. https://airlinersgallery.smugmug.com/Airlines-USA5/Spirit-Airlines/i-73FfHk2/A Eeeek! I'd never seen that hideous thing. A possible fire at the TRACON building at DFW has put a ground stop at DFW. Some flights are being diverted to SHV. Actually, it looks like most if not all incoming flights are being diverted.
Also hearing DAL is being affected by this.
LH FRA-DFW 343. We get this aircraft during the summer season, although it is occasionally brought in during the winter months as it was for two days last week.Jump to post

For the record, I asked our QF rep during his last visit to our very big travel agency if they were considering switching DFW to the 789's anytime soon. His answer was no because they were satisfied with the numbers on the DFW route PLUS the 380's are filling up the F cabin and the 789's don't have...Jump to post

Why are there no South American carriers to DFW? Surely LATAM could make a flight work being a One World member. AV is a South American (now mostly Colombian) airline. It operates SAL-DFW a route which came when AV took over Taca. I guess I didn't consider AV since their DFW route flies to Central ...Jump to post

For any DFW spotters on here Qatar will be flying the A350-1000 on Doha-DFW from 7/1/19 to 10/26/19.
