"It’s the horrible inequity is the true crime." okay, you don't know my homecountry gringo. Inequity have been going on a low for many years between 2006 and 2013, and still the crime rate went way up. Let's go back to talk about aviation. I'm sorry but have you ever read statistics about...

Re: More US-Brazil flights?

Flying nonstop GIG-USA is currently so expensive due to lack of offer... In may - complete low season - GIG-MIA and ATL have run over 96% loaded with out-of-this-world fares. Carriers are going to extract hub premiums for their non-stops. DL GIG-ATL-GIG may be $1677 in October but GIG-ATL-BWI-ATL-G...

Also, Brazil has been reduced as well. GRU where AV used to fly 3x A332 daily is now being flown by A32N and GIG has been downgraded from A332 to A319. At first I thought AV would use the released A332 from GIG to GRU, once O6 left the route, but it does not seem to be de case.

I don't understand why there's comparasion with AV. AV flies from BOG and LATAM flies from GRU. If someone intends to go to MUC from GRU, the obvious choice would be a flight to MAD/LHR/CDG/MXP/FCO/BCN/FRA and then MUC, not GRU-BOG-MUC. I just found in the slot database provided by GIG airport administration which says that GIG-MDZ may become year round. The flights will be G37629/7628 and the schedules remain the same.

Also, GIG-COR/ROS may return to daily before high season and Austral requested GIG-ROS daily as well.
