Sometimes I’ll take my kids to the Cornelia Fort Park and play “airplane,” where we go to the runway and I sprint while pushing the stroller and push down on the back to lift their legs up, all while making airplane sounds, thus simulating a takeoff. So it’s not completely out of commission as an ai...

Knight Valley Drive will also have to be rerouted. Genesco would be retained, Johnston and Murphy removed. Knight Valley would be closed as would...

Jump to postI think we’re getting a tad ahead of ourselves here. Once A gets built to an L shape, BNA should be set. Instead of a new terminal, I’d expect a satellite terminal built where the expanded apron was recently filled in. You would get to it via a tunnel underground. https://www.flynashville.com/about...

BNA-ATL is shorthaul route...not exactly WN's focus these days. Jump to postApparently F9 is starting BNA-ORD again on April 30. I swear they’ve started and dropped that route like 10 times. Looks like they’ll be running Sun-Tues-Thurs.
Jump to postI'll ask this again since it seemed to get lost in the shuffle before. Will the new international customs facility that will be built in the center of the airport have a recheck facility to accommodate connecting passengers, or does BNA anticipate all international traffic being O&D? Most of it...
Jump to postUnlike BNA-ATL, where it is connecting a midsized market to a top 10 market, BNA-IND is a route connecting two mid-sized markets of similar size. As such, I cannot imagine there is a ton of O&D between the cities, so a WN 737 may be too much plane. That said, connections may be needed to make t...
Jump to postIs anyone else’s OCD alarms going off due to the fact that we were like 4000 short of 16 million?
In all seriousness, great numbers. With business additions, regional population growth, and continued airline investment at BNA its bound to continue rising for some time.
Does anyone know how many total daily flights BNA will have this summer?
Jump to postJust dummy booked one of Sun Country’s LAX flight, it’s a 9:25 PM departure from BNA (11:55 LAX arrival) on a Monday and a red eye back from LAX on a Friday. Cheap, but terrible times. I didn’t try any other times, I don’t have the patience for Sun Country’s terrible mobile website.

They finally updated data for Nov. 1,409,968 passengers for the month, up 15.1% over PY. 14,688,075 Nov 2018 YTD.
I’d say 16M will be surpassed comfortably.
BNA is not a focus city for DL, is it? Because we have someone on here that is insisting it is. No it isn’t. What thread? The infamous Detroit thread..... I just read through it. Their twitter post about it says 3 destinations, two of them new to BNA. I’d have to say G4. NK would merit one of those “new airline” announcements, and odds are F9 would be offering cheaper service to a pre-served location. Probably like Orlando-Sanford, Phoenix-Mesa, and maybe like Vegas or somet...

Jump to postI didn’t realize this will only be BUR’s 4th location east of the Mississippi, with ATL on DL to follow as the 5th a month later. The others are MDW, BOS, and JFK. Kind of impressive that we’re one of such a select group of eastern cities serviced from a California airport.
